Dr. Birring is a Houstonian through and through. He grew up in northwest Houston, attended the University of Texas at Austin, and completed his dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. With over 20 years of practice, he brings a steady, skilled hand and a genuine commitment to staying current with the latest techniques and technology. His approach is conservative and relationship-driven. He's not here to oversell you, just to take great care of you. When he's not in the office, you'll find him in Bellaire with his wife Manpreet and eagerly waiting for their two soccer-obsessed college boys to come home for a visit. The family loves to travel, and Dr. Birring rounds out his free time with workouts, basketball, golf, and a good podcast.

With over 25 years in dentistry, Clarissa is the backbone of the practice. She started out as a dental assistant before moving into office management, which means she understands every corner of this office and genuinely loves every part of it. Her favorite thing about coming to work? The patients. She's a relationship-builder at heart and works hard to make sure every person who walks through the door feels welcomed and well taken care of. Outside of work, life is all about family. She loves spending time with her husband and their two beautiful daughters and making every moment count.

Dhara brings over 12 years of dental hygiene experience and a whole lot of heart to every appointment. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry in 2014. Originally from Dallas (go Cowboys! 🤠), she made the move to Houston with her husband in 2025 and has fit right in with our team. Dhara is known for her gentle, thorough approach and her ability to make even the most nervous patients feel right at ease. Outside the office, she's into fitness, wellness, traveling, and spending time with the people she loves most.

Christine grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and headed to Houston after earning her Dental Hygiene degree from Wichita State University in 2020. She has a real passion for connecting with patients, whether that's making a cleaning feel totally stress-free or helping someone finally feel confident about their oral health routine. She loves getting to know the people she treats and believes that care should always feel personal. When she's not at work, you can find her staying active, planning her next trip, working on a DIY project, or hanging out with friends.

Jhakia has been part of the dental world for the past three years as a dental assistant, and she loves it more every day. She's currently working toward her Dental Hygiene degree because she's the kind of person who is always looking to grow and do more for her patients. Jhakia has a natural gift for making people feel comfortable and at ease, and her warmth is the kind you notice the moment you meet her. She takes real pride in being part of a team that helps patients leave feeling confident, cared for, and ready to show off their smile.

Every great dental office has a secret weapon, and ours has four paws. Meet Nikki, our beloved rescue pup and the most enthusiastic member of the Birring Dental team. Nikki joined us in 2020 after being rescued through Love and Rescue, and she has taken her role very seriously ever since. Her job description includes greeting every patient at the door, providing emotional support on request, and generally making the whole office a happier place to be. Whether you're nervous about your appointment or just need a little extra love, Nikki is on it!
